It's all good

It's not all good, but it's ok. It's getting better. There are new friends! There is a sunburn from being in Santa Cruz! My cholesterol probably went up times a bajillion from chili cheese gut bomb fries! And somehow through the crap-o-la, there's a tiny remote bit of distance related closure.

ALSO I drew this last weekend for a contest. Amelia, age 100:

A lot of people claim the best way to get over a broken heart is to get right back into dating. (Assuming that's what the problem is here.) I say that's bullshit, the best way is to simply stay active, don't let yourself sit around moping like that'll make everything better. I hope the comics are helping!

Have you ever had "poutine"? It's a Canadian delicacy (and by delicacy, I mean staple in any good diner and diet of a heartbroken youngster). Poutine= fries + fresh cheese curds + gravy + awesome.
But chili cheese fries of intestinal doom is also a beacon of light.
In my experience, good for heartache things are The Adventures of Pete and Pete, hanging out with friends, and buying lots of stuff to fill the void in your life (but not JUST to fill the void- also to make you awesomer. when you get over the ache, you will probably still be happy with all the cool new stuff you've got). I bought a piano during my last heartache.

I'm still getting over a rough breakup from 9 months ago, so I feel ya. Surround yourself with people who actually care about you and want you happy. Stay busy! And delete his number/e-mail/etc.! Best of luck.
