Why does candy taste so good and make me feel so bad?

Anyone have some good suggestions for classic country or bluegrass I should download?
I've sorted through the typical stuff (Merle Haggard, Bill Monroe, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, etc etc) so if you know something off the beaten path let me know.

YeeHaw!

Here's some suggestions:
Carl Perkins
Del McCoury
Doyle Lawson
Guy Clark
Hank Snow
Jerry Jeff Walker
The Louvin Brothers
The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
Ramblin' Jack Elliot
'Transcendental Blues' by Steve Earle (psychedelic bluegrass!)
The Everly Brothers

Hard to define 'Classic Country and Bluegrass' You could go purely by the sound of the music. You could go with the time it was created.
I combined 'em, 70's at the latest and people who stayed in the norm of the sound of their genres, except Steve Earle, because that album is so great. Hopefully there's a few you haven't explored.

david bromberg...bullfrog blues...
unfortunately, an entire album purchase on itunes...what a racket...but this is a song/story/humorous rendition that is a classic bluegrass...something...I don't know how else to describe it. Humorous and unique...worth a listen.
